Maxine Fothergill is the Founder and Managing Director of Amax Estates and Property Services Ltd which she started over 14 years ago and which has become a thriving successful business specialising in Residential Lettings, Sales, Property and Block Management.

She is assisted by an excellent team of staff whose expertise and commitment is clearly demonstrated by the 24 industry awards won by Amax since 2009 including being 'London Property Manager of the Year' and NLA ‘Property Women of the Year' for London and South East.

Maxine has been a landlord/developer for several years and since 2004 she has been a trainer for the UK Landlords Accreditation Scheme (UKLAS) and is personally responsible for successfully training over 3000 landlords and agents.

In 2010 she was voted in by local constituents to become a Conservative Councillor for Colyers Ward in the London Borough of Bexley.

Maxine is a member of the RICS Residential Property Group and in 2015 she was invited to become an Honorary Consultant for FPRA (The Federation of Private Residents' Association).
